1. What is included in our charges
Parking, petrol and all driver-guide expenses. Charges are per
car and not per person. Our private car tours are in six seater
multi-passenger vehicles or MPVs e.g. Ford Galaxy, Toyota Previa,
for 1-3 or 4-6 passengers. Four and six seater Mercedes on request
at extra cost.
2. What is not included
Entrances to attractions and monuments, meals and fees for languages,
gratuities. All tours are in English. If you require any other
language there is an extra charge of £40 per day, £25
per half day.
3. Coach tours, mini-coach and guide only
Group tours are quoted on request. Collection is from the coach
park at airports and guides, driver-guides or couriers will meet
groups in the arrival concourse by prior arrangement. The airport
information desk is used as a point of contact or the designated
meeting point. Please note Tourways phone numbers to contact
us on arrival. We recommend phoning the drivers mobile on arrival
before passing immigation.
4. Airport transfers
If luggage is carried we can only offer tours or transfers or
stopover tours for up to four passengers in our six seater MPVs
otherwise please request a mini-coach for 5-12 seats or a bus/coach
for larger numbers (12 plus).
5. Stopover tours and layover same day tours
Allow one hour to clear immigration and customs and one hour
check in for European flights and two hours for other destinations.
Stopover calculated from estimated time of arrival to departure
time.
Tours can start from one airport and end at another. Example:
arrive London Gatwick at 08:00 depart 14:00 (2pm)
= six (6) hour stopover for party of six

London Airport HEATHROW and GATWICK
Airport Transfers with baggage and Ports of Dover and Southampton
for cruise ships - up to 4 passengers with luggage.
Please allow two hours for road travel in each direction and
confirm check in times with your travel agent, airline, or cruiseship
line.
Tourways representatives will meet you with a sign at the first
arrival point and we will supply a mobile (cell) phone number.
We calculate baggage as one suitcase and one carry-on per person.
Please advise if you have excess baggage. You may require a larger
vehicle.
More than four passengers
Minibuses / executive coaches / coaches for 8 / 12 / 49 seats
available on request.
6. Multi-day overnight touring holidays of Britain
Prices of driver-guide tours include unlimited mileage, petrol
car and guide's overnight expenses
Last minute bookings are possible on request. See News
from Tourways on home page. We reserve the right to charge
for extra hours at £30 per hour. Rates/fees are per car
(MPV) calculated on the number in your party either 1-3 or 4-6
for driver-guide tours, and up to 4 for airport transfers or
stopover tours with luggage. Bookings
for mini-coaches are for 12 or 15 seats for tours and transfers.
Coaches are available in 49, 52 and 71 seaters (double decker).
Times agreed must be strictly adhered otherwise penalties may
be incurred for extra hours. For walking
tours or events (large groups) we recommend one guide for 25.
For guided tours we provide one guide per coach (up to 50). Guides
accompany groups at all times into attractions and historic monuments.
Language services: standard languages for all tours: Dutch/Flemish,
French, German, Italian, Spanish at £40.00 (full day) and
£25.00 (half day). Other languages (for example Cantonese,
Croatian, Japanese, Mandarin, Polish, Russian) available on request.
7. Conditions
Tourways is not responsible for delays due to unforeseen
circumstances such as traffic hold-ups
All matters concerning any booking or tour are subject to English
law.
